Nizami Mammadov - Chairperson
Mammadov Nizami Zaur – was born in 2002 in Ganja, Azerbaijan. In 2019, he was admitted to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU). He continued his studies at the University of Tuscia (Università degli Studi della Tuscia) in Italy in 2022 and graduated from ADAU in 2024. Over an extended period, he held leadership roles in student organizations. Currently, he serves as the Senior Specialist in the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students Affair and as the Chairperson of the Student Trade Union Committee.
Samir Guliyev - Vice Chairman
Born in 2005 in Baku, Azerbaijan, the individual enrolled in the Faculty of Zooengineering at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University in 2022. From 2023 to 2024, he served as the Deputy Chairperson of the Student Youth Organization. Currently, and continue their work as the First Deputy Chairperson of the Student Trade Union Committee.
The Student Trade Union Committee has been operating as a legal entity since 1935.
The committee’s activities are as follows:
– protection of labor, social, economic rights and legal interests of students, care for their health, effective regulation of free time, development of physical culture and sports, including cultural and educational;
– training of activists from among members of trade unions and trade union workers;
– consists in providing methodological information, legal, material and other types of assistance to members of trade unions and subordinate organizations.
To carry out the activities of the Trade Union Organization in these areas, in accordance with the charter oft he union, creates commissions.
