The project was held on the joint initiative of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organisations of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ASAU) and the Pharmacists’ Club public association.
Aida Gasimova, vice-rector for educational work of the university, who made a speech at the event, noted that the fight against drug addiction is one of the main tasks of forming a healthy society. The initiative is aimed at raising health awareness, especially preventing substance abuse. The focus on drug addiction, its consequences and ongoing campaigns to combat it directly supports the goal of ensuring healthy lifestyles and promoting well-being for all.
The chairman of “Pharmacists’ Club” Public Union, Shovgi Bunyatov, made a speech and expressed his gratitude to ADAU management for the created conditions. Then speeches on drug addiction and its complications, treatment and other topics were heard.
