Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU), located in Ganja, Azerbaijan, is committed to becoming a leader in agricultural education and research by strengthening International partnerships and fostering a global perspective. Given the university’s strategic location in the western region of Azerbaijan, ADAU serves as a crucial link between rural agricultural communities and national, regional, and global agricultural advancements. This policy aligns with the opinions and recommendations of the executive board of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University. It is based on national priorities set forth by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated February 2, 2021, titled “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development.” It addresses educational, research, and socio-civic spheres consistent with these national priorities. Additionally, it is structured in accordance with the “State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the “State Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” and the “2022-2026 Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.” aiming to address pressing global and local challenges in agriculture, food security, and ADAU’s internationalization efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
