On 22nd of September 2023, Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) held an international conference “6th International Conference on Food, Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences“in a hybrid format with the Turkish Institute of Economic Development and Social Studies (IKSAD) and University of EGE (Turkey).
Speaking rector of ADAU Zafar Gurbanov reported that the main goal of the conference is cooperation of scientists who have achieved scientific achievements in various fields of agriculture in the world.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Elchin Zeynalov welcomed the participants and wished them success in their work. Speaking about the relevance of the topic, the deputy minister drew attention to the importance of training highly qualified specialists to provide the population with quality agricultural products.
Rector of the University of EGE Nejdet Budak, the head of the Institute for Economic Development and Social Studies of Turkiye, Mustafa Latif Emek, and the Turkish
General Consul in Ganja Rejep Oztop spoke about the strong fraternal relations between Turkiye and Azerbaijan and wished success to the conference.
Chairman of YAP of Ganja city (New Azerbaijan Party) Bayram Aslanov, head of Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Education Department Anar Gadimaliyev, head of IKSAD organization for Azerbaijan Elvan Jafarov also made speeches and expressed their opinions.
