Employees and students of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) participated in a large-scale tree planting campaign organized by the Ganja City Executive Authority and the Housing and Communal Economy Production Union, held along the section of the Baku-Ganja highway that passes through Ganja.
The aim of the campaign, conducted along the ancient Silk Road, is to draw public attention to the restoration and increase of green spaces, as well as to contribute to environmental protection and combat climate change. The participants planted 4,000 Eldar pines, suitable for the region soil and climate conditions.
It is noteworthy that the tree planting campaign dedicated to the ‘Year of Solidarity for a Green World lasted for three days. During this period, a total of 5,450 trees were planted in the area. In the next five days, it is planned to plant an additional 5,000 trees.
