An ecological cleanup campaign was held at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) in honor of Agricultural Workers’ Day on November 1.

A group of 60 volunteers, consisting of students from the Faculties of Agronomy, Soil Science, and Agrochemistry, participated in this campaign, organized by the University’s Student Youth Organization and the Student Trade Union Committee. The event took place at ADAU’s Educational and Experimental Farm, where the volunteers engaged in various cleanup activities to promote environmental responsibility.

  1. During the campaign, the students gathered waste and conducted maintenance on the farmland to enhance its ecological sustainability.
  2. The cleanup initiative aimed to raise awareness about environmental preservation among young agricultural professionals and encourage sustainable practices.
  3. In addition to cleaning activities, the students received a brief training on the importance of ecological balance in agriculture.
  4. University officials praised the students’ enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of involving youth in environmental projects to foster responsibility towards natural resources.
