Du Yongjun, President of the UNESCO Association of the Gansu region of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), visited the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
During the visit, he met with the university’s rector, Zafar Gurbanov, who provided a detailed overview of ADAU’s strategic goals and international collaborations. The rector emphasized that ADAU is keen on establishing partnerships with international higher education institutions and companies in the field of personnel and specialist training.
The meeting focused on expanding cooperation with higher education institutions in China, joint initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions in alignment with the university’s sustainability policy, and collaborative research on edible mushrooms.
Du Yongjun expressed his satisfaction with visiting ADAU and shared his perspectives on potential areas of joint activity.
Following the meeting, the guest visited ADAU’s Teaching and Experimental Farm.
