A presentation was held on the development of a model for the efficient use of allocated land in Tartar.

As part of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, a presentation was held on the project “Development of a Model for the Efficient Use of Allocated Land in Tartar District through Ecosystem Protection and the Application of Innovative Technologies.”

The event was organized by the Executive Authority of Tartar District and the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) and was attended by Müstəqim Məmmədov, Head of the Executive Authority of Tartar District; Zəfər Qurbanov, Rector of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University; Ziyad Abbasov, Project Leader; Beyliş Təkin, Professor at Ege University; and ADAU faculty members Nizami Seyidəliyev, Mirnaib Mirsalahov, and Anar Hətəmov, along with farmers and entrepreneurs engaged in the agricultural sector.

The event commenced with welcoming remarks from Müstəqim Məmmədov, who provided an overview of the district and emphasized the significance of the project. He also affirmed the local administration’s commitment to supporting its implementation in the region.

In his address, Zəfər Qurbanov, Rector of ADAU, underscored the project’s importance and extended his best wishes for its success.

Subsequently, Ziyad Abbasov delivered a detailed presentation on the project, highlighting the pivotal role of innovations in the agricultural sector in enhancing productivity and expanding the production of competitive agricultural products through the modernization of technical, technological, and organizational foundations.

At the conclusion of the event, participants visited the orchards owned by “Furitti Agro” LLC in the Çaylı and Kəngərli villages, where they examined the facilities and familiarized themselves with the conditions created for agricultural development.
