A hybrid meeting of the Working Group on Agricultural Sciences was held at Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) as part of the Commission established to develop new educational programs.
Speaking at the meeting, the Co-Chair of the group and Rector of ADAU, Zafer Gurbanov, addressed the key issues on the agenda. He emphasized the importance of aligning master’s degree programs with modern requirements and the needs of the labor market.
The other Co-Chair, Mohammad Gouzal, Agricultural Director General of Azersun Holding, also delivered a speech, highlighting current global trends in the agricultural sector. He noted that changes in the labor market necessitate a revision of personnel training approaches and stressed the importance of incorporating innovative solutions in this field.
During the meeting, Elay Zeynalli, Head of the Academic Department and Associate Professor, introduced the members of the Working Group and sub-working groups. According to him, these groups include experts from the country’s leading higher education institutions, research institutes, as well as representatives from both the public and private sectors.
Following the discussions, the agenda items were put to a vote and unanimously approved.
